The Range Brewing refurbishment was a collaborative project with the Range team, some of our best mates.

 

Based in Newstead, the parameters of the project were simple: Integrate acoustic attenuation in an otherwise harsh, post-war inner-city warehouse; Design for flood resilience, where walls can be accessed and cleaned after a flooding event; and to create meaningful spaces for conversations for the patrons to the brewery.

Integrating sustainable materials such as timber for the wall cladding, overpour concrete terrazzo benchtops from Brisbane legends 5 Mile Radius, recycled plastic partitions from Replas, as well as new louvres to the clerestory window for passive ventilation, are all components to a complete refresh of the brewery.
